Injuries

Injuries and their effects
During games or training players can pick up injuries, which means they cannot participate in a game or training. As long as a player is injured, he cannot train or be included in games. The time a player can be out with in an injury is at least one day, but in some extreme rare cases it could be for a whole season.
Player Position / Training type / Fitness
The probability of injury is dependent on several factors.

Position: A goalkeeper is less likely to get injured compared to an outfield player
Training type: the probability of injury during fitness training is lower than the probability of injury during the technique or endurance training.
Fitness: the more unfit a player, the greater the likelihood of injury
Replacement of injured players
When a player injures himself in a game and cannot participate further, he will be automatically replaced, providing the limit for substitutions has not been reached. The replacement for the injured player is selected according to certain rules, which the team manager can set himself and set buddies for his players. If a player has no determined buddies or the buddies cannot be changed, the system decides according to the tendency rule, which can also be set by the team manager.

If no rule exist, the injured player will nonetheless be replaced by another player, which will usually be the strongest player in the corresponding position.
Player value development during an injury
Because an injured player can not train or not fully train, his ratings will suffer due to the injury. As long as a player is injured his stamina rating will fall by 0.33 points per day (but not below the 95 point mark) and its fitness rating by 3 points per day (but not below the 80 point mark). The technique ratings of an injured player will not change.
Contracts and Transfers
An injury does not affect a players contract in anyway. His contract, for example, can be extended or terminated, or be placed on the transfer market and sold in this way.
Health Insurance
A player is still entitled to his salary even when he has injured himself. If you want to protect yourself financially against the absence of a player, health insurance can be arranged for the respective players. While an insured player is injured, the insurance will cover the payment of his salary. However, for this service the insurance company requires insurance payment fees in return, which are always at the rate of 7.5% of the players salary and are paid daily.
Match practise and contract extensions
If a player is injured he cannot be used in a game, and consequently causes his match practise rating to drop. An injury break has an effect on the players match practise limits, which must be reached by a player so that a contract extension can be negotiated. In a standard case a player is ready to negotiate a contract when his match practise rating is at least 55 points. If a player is injured, the match practise limit drops by 3 points everyday. For example, when a player is ready to negotiate after being injured for 5 days his match practise limit would have dropped to 40. The player will recover and his match practise rating will rise again by 3 points every day until the standard 55 points is once again reached.
Match practise and player forced team changes
If a player is rarely used, it automatically causes a message on the transfer market and the player is then transferred to another club. Whether the player is satisfied with his involvement in the team (match practise level), he decides with the help of his Playing Experience Level (PEL) i.e. on the basis of his PEL value. The limit value of the PEL is dependent on the players age and can be found in this overview.

If a player is injured this limit drops every day by 3 points. As an example, if a 20 year old player is injured, he would still be allowed to remain at the club on the 5th day of his injury while also having an PEL value of 10 points. When the player recovers from an injury, the corresponding limit will rise daily by 3 points until the standard value is reached again.
